Lucinda studied abroad in New Delhi last year and has an interesting perspective on different places and their cultures.
Her playlist began with "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service and wound its way through The Magnetic Fields, Apparat, Simon & Garfunkel, and ended with Ani DiFranco's "Fuel".

This week UPS senior, Nick Martens, hosted The Guest Hour. Fed up with indie kids playing the same old bunk without knowing about the roots to their favorite music, Nick led us through an hour of current indie music and its influences.
Focusing largely on alternative music in the 1990s, Nick peppered his playlist with newer tracks like "Gravity's Rainbow" from the Klaxons debut (and only album), Myths of the Near Future, Blonde Redhead "23", and a little Daft Punk and LCD Soundsystem thrown in just for kicks.Nick's playlist:Pixies - Debaser
Klaxons - Gravity's Rainbow
My Bloody Valentine - Sometimes
Blonde Redhead - 23
Pavement - In the Mouth of the Desert
Tapes 'n Tapes - Insistor
Daft Punk - Da Funk
LCD Soundsystem - Tribulations
Slint - Good Morning Captain
Battles - Tonto

To learn more about the man himself, visit The Bygone Bureau and Exotic Birds and Fruit. Is the prog rock reference a mere coincidence? You decide.
